Really nice

Had some great percussion samples in there, but it got a little repetitive after awhile, but then your synths and other sounds were really nice, overall really good.
What I would fix/ add/ change:
-Add more layers in there, like a pad or something gated.
-Try using a different bass in there, and make it stronger.
-Make the kick stronger, and change up your beat every now and then.
Overall though, really great work!

Hey man, thank you for the review! Yeah, I spent a very long time mixing the drums. I wanted to make them perfect. Most of the changes in the drums were in the closed hi hats, which change frequently throughout the beginning of the song. Other than that, you're right, they are fairly repetitive, but I wanted a simple beat for this song.

I was debating adding a pad, but I wasn't sure what I would have it do. I also didn't want to clutter this song up. I have a gated effect at 2:14.

The bass in all my songs is consistently "too high" so I wanted to make something that was moderate this time around. I'm also confused by what you mean when you stronger. Does that mean louder? Deeper? More overdrive?

I was surprised when you suggested making the kick stronger! I thought the kick was just right. These are our opinions however.

I think I was just trying to make this song perfect mixing-wise because that is the hardest part of creating a piece for me. I've always had trouble with it, so I was really trying to get better at it with this song. I thank you for the good review though, and thanks for listening!

Pretty good :D

Nice sounds, has a cool beat to it, overall really good :)
My only problem is you definitely need to add a bass in there, and also try to make it a little less repetitive, and I could definitely see some vocals going in here, if you get a chance try playing around with that. I think it would sound pretty good!

True, it is repetitive. It originally had some bass, alot actually. I turned it down though, guess turned it down too much. Vocals would be nice. Thanks for the support and review man. Glad you liked it.

Maybe stuff wasn't mastered too great, but it was still a really great song :)
Try working with the mastering so you don't have things going in and out volume wise.
Other than that, AWESOME work!!

And then the vocals did get off a little from the drums and the track, but really overall GREAT song!
